If you are going to deploy new AX7 with August 2016 Update (AX7 7.0.4230.16130) on cloud, it will require you to configure Azure Resource Manager (ARM) topology.
The Azure Resource Manager (ARM) is the service used to provision resources in your Azure subscription.
Without ARM onboarding , your LCS project will not be deployed and you will face error messages.
The steps for ARM onboarding are provided in next AX Wiki article
If you are using 2 different accounts for Azure subscription and AX7 Tenant, you may get stuck up at step 12c of Azure Resource Manager onboarding
E.g. if you are using O365 tenant for AX7 and Windows Live account for Azure subscription, you will face issue. To avoid this situation you need to manage your directory from O365 account, which you are using as AX7 tenant. You can find steps for that in next article. I will recommend this, before proceeding for ARM onboarding.
What if, the LCS tenancy is subscribed using 'firstname.lastname@example.org' account and Azure subscription account is created using my organisation domain 'email@example.com'. I am having issues on completing the step 3 which says "On the Grant admin consent page, click Authorize. Then sign in by using the administrator account of the Azure subscription". This process is never getting completed for me and the page is taken to the "Bad request sign in" page. I am pretty sure, I am entering my Azure account credentials correctly. Any hint on this issue would be appreciated.
