is there any way to change the deliver schedule date and quantity in purchase order lines, if line is received partially?
I think no. As you will post receipt list system will disable this. But one thing you can do cancel that receipt and then change the delivery schedule as per your plan.
You can just change the delivery date on the delivery tab of the line details to change the date, or update the confirmed date. The "top" line is the schedule total and is not a line you can alter, so that date stays the same but it is not an important date in reality. Just change it at each schedule level. The same is true of the deliver remainder function, it is needed at the line level, not the original header, so simply reduce one of the delivery lines.
you mean system does not allow to change deliver schedule of remaining quantity once its received partially. we have to split quantity in more than one line in purchase order and change date for each line as per delivery?
It allows me to change the date and the quantity of a line partially received. Change the date on the partially received line and use the standard deliver remainder to reduce the quantity. If I want to increase the quantity I simply overwrite the quantity on the line.
Yes you can change the confirmed date in PO header. But if you want to schedule the delivery you cannot after partial delivery.
Prashant - that is creating the schedule. If the schedule is ALREADY created and you receive some in, go to the received line and change the date or quantity.
The post is about changing an existing schedule, not creating a schedule from a received line (as I read it anyway :-))
Steven thanks for correcting me,may be I misunderstood. In ur case if you schedule already you can change delivery date per line.
Well I am not correcting you Prashant, you might be correct and it is my interpretation that is incorrect. Hopefully between us we have given the poster an answer they like!
