We are using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU8, and able to set-up the Microsoft Dynamics AX mobile app over Windows Phone 8.1 working fine, for iPhone its working fine for iOS 8 and iOS 8.4.1, but not for 9.1 .
Did any one faced this issues or have any fix?
If it is not working correctly, can you find any logging why it is not working or provide details if you are or are not able to install the app?
I'm not aware if iOS9 is used at my customers. If it is reproducible, you might create an incident at Microsoft support.
App is installed, when trying to log in on iOS 9.1 its showing "Something went wrong ".
As if now its only working for IOS 8 and IOS 8.4, Windows 8.1 and Android phone.
At one customer they use iOS9.1 of their iPhones and two persons confirmed it is working correctly. Which exact iOS version is not working? Is it a 9.0?
I can confirm that the IOS app is not working correctly on iPhone6 under the latest IOS version. Some error 'something went wrong' regardless of what is entered as username or service. Tested with the same credentials on Android and Windows (phone and pc) and these are working fine.
I will submit a ticket with Microsoft after I get back from Convergence next week.
Hi Andre, Yes its iOS 9.1
Thanks René for your contribution. At the customer we now also found some users which are not able to login with an iPhone 5S. Some others can actually do it with the iPhone 5S (iOS 9.1).
The phones should be the same, but some are giving an error. I could trace that there are no connections made with the AX timesheet service when the app is raising an error.
Also very interesting is that there is no login attempt logged for these attempts on the AD FS server.
So it could be related to a certificate trust issue...? It looks like for some reason the app cannot reach the AD FS server.
We found out that the latest version of the iPhone app is released at November 2 with version number 3.3.
Persons with an iPhone 5S and iOS 9.1 do have an issue with this 3.3 version.
Some users did not update to the latest version and are running version 3.2. This 3.2 version is working without issues.
Also another person tested with an iPhone 6, iOS9.1 and the AX app version 3.3. This combination is not working. My customer will probably also create an incident.
Microsoft Dynamics AX App version (3.3) for iOS 9.1 is not working. However Same Microsoft Dynamics AX App version (3.3) for iOS 8 is working fine, so might be a case that Microsoft Dynamics AX App version (3.3) is not yet tested for iOS 9.1.
Did you get a resolution to this problem?
We have the same issue.
Not yet, still on the same page, we have logged ticket in with Microsoft Support. I would suggest to create a ticket with Microsoft Support if possible, since its very critical for all of us now.
Apple released a new version of iOS. Also with this operating system the issue remains. Also my customer created a support incident. Microsoft is aware of multiple customers having this issue. Also they were possible to reproduce the issue. They are working towards a solution now. There is no confirmed release date as of today, but it should be part of a new release in iTunes.
There is a new version (3.4) of the iPhone app available. You can download it and see if it works for you: itunes.apple.com/.../id663448683
This should solve the login connection problems with iOS 9.1.
I am getting same problem. , I currently have my phone ios 9.3.3 version. i can not find solution.
Thank you in advance for your interest
If you have the latest available app for your iPhone, you should create an incident for Microsoft support.
