IS there any way to close a Purchase Order which is received partially ?
I don't want to go throw line by line to close one by one. I'm looking for an option to close the whole order without prcosseing it line by line (some orders can contain more than 80 items, so ...)
P.S: Even i want to do it line by line (by marking Close for receipt), i can't, once i make the Product receipt and leave the order. because when i return back to the order, i can't put the quantity as zero !
I tried also to follow this link : http://dynamicsteaching.com/how-to-cancel-deliver-remainder-in-ax-2012/ but i get an error :
Object object not initialized.
(C)\Forms\PurchUpdateRemain\Methods\closeOk - line 42(C)\Forms\PurchUpdateRemain\Designs\DesignList\ButtonCancelLine\Methods\Clicked - line 13
Any idea please ?
Are there any developments in this functionality? It works fine in a standard environment.
Cancelling deliver reminder does not mean to reduce your purchline quantity to zero. With the simplest explanation: Deliver reminder is the remaining qty that can be received of a PO line.
By using the deliver reminder functionality in the link you provided, you are supposed to be able to cancel the remaining qty (Deliver reminder) and this updates your Purchase order line status to "Cancelled" - if you haven't received any. Or "received" if you received partially.
To do it for the whole order, you can use the "Cancel" button's functionality, located in the ribbon on top. It basically runs the mentioned functionality for all lines.
Have you tried hitting 'Cancel' on a partially received PO? When you do, AX asks you this:
If you hit 'Yes', AX will cancel all un-received quantities/lines.
Yes t works fine if I click on Cancel. And it's great ;)
The unique problem is that the PO's status is changed from Confirmed to Approved ! is there some way to let the PO with Confirmed status ?
You can use the below link which illustrates how to achieve this using x++ code in Dynamics AX.
