I'm trying to print an excel file on the computer's default printer but i cannot find the right method to do so.
Using classes sysExcelApplication, sysExcelWorkbook and sysExcelWorksheet to create and fill an excel file using X++ work great but i cannot find any method in these object to print the excel file resulting.
Anyone can help?
thanks a lot!
Hello Ammo, Is there a way to do this in the new versions, or did you find a way?
You may use WinAPI::shellExecute() method. you just need to pass necessary parameters into the method like filename, printername, printerport etc
Maybe like described here for PDF files though: www.agermark.com/.../print-pdf-files-from-ax-to-specific.html
Thank Ammo, this looks like a great plan B! I was hoping the Excel addin would support printing without saving the file. Thank you!
Thanks Palle, this will be great when I need to print those PDFs!
