i'm trying to use "Leave of absence" but i didn't find it in PERSONNEL ACTION
so in this case how can i use this type or if there's any guild for that?
I cannot recall a personnel action called "Leave of absence". The Personnel actions features are documented here: docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-personnel-actions
The feature is related to hiring, positions and terminations. Absence is not related to changing positions or workers.
Probably you had seen it in the past as part of a customization or add-on solution?
thanks for replay
but that was in R2 depending on this topic
if they are remove it from R3 how can i create it new type of Personnel actions?
That explains why I haven't seen the personnel actions you are referring to. I had used it only with AX 2012 R3 and Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
It would be possible to create it using a customization, but related actions needs to be developed as well.
Can you tell what exact business requirement you are trying to fulfill? Probably there is another option to achieve a certain goal?
thanks for replay i'm trying to create workflow for (Leave) but when i did customize workflow for (Leave) i can't run it and i notes in HR they'r using Personal action types
so if i can do customization is there any guide for that?
There is no guide how to add a personnel type properly. The solution should be designed. Probably another community member had done a similar job who can help you out, but I would recommend to start working on a technical design yourself.
but that's weird in ax2012r2 was available how can i find that in R3?
The answer is in the blog post, shared by you above. It has been depreciated in AX 2012 R3. If you want to have this functionality, you have to add it as own customization.
