I'm trying to install the Reporting Services extensions, but is showing the error below:
I check the Event Viewer and I got the error below:
Faulting application name: AxSetup.exe, version: 6.3.6000.151, time stamp: 0x59afc51eFaulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.2.14393.2848, time stamp: 0x5c7f626eException code: 0xe053534fFault offset: 0x0000000000034078Faulting process id: 0x%9Faulting application start time: 0x%10Faulting application path: %11

Using Windows Server 2016 and SQL Server 2017. The AX is working very well, just the reporting is not working.
SQL Server 2017 is not supported with Dynamics AX 2012. Please see the system requirements document (which you can find with a simple web search).
I read the system requirements document now. In another server I have SQL Server 2016 (is supported), but I'm getting the same issue. SQL 2016 do not worked with SSRS? Thanks!
SQL Server 2016 is supported with some AX2012 versions. What is your AX2012 version?
AX 2012 R3 CU13
Ok, that should work.
One more thing, I noticed two different versions in the error message:
Faulting application name: AxSetup.exe, version: 6.3.6000.151, time stamp: 0x59afc51e
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.2.14393.2848, time stamp: 0x5c7f626e
Are you sure all your components are in the same version?
Maybe you can create a support request for Microsoft about this issue.
