When I tried to validate open quality order before posting RAF journal, the error display: " Update conflict. The standard cost doesn't match with the financial inventory value after update".
I researched old topics which related to this issue. The issue could be solved by writing code to run InventSum recalculation.
"InventSumReCalcItem inventSumReCalcItem= new InventSumReCalcItem("ITEM001",true,CheckFix::Fix);
But I'm not sure that there is any side effect after running this code. Could you explain me more about its impact.?
Thanks you and Best regards
Running this method is safe. It is part of the standard Consistency check which is available in AX 2012. It will rebuild the InventSum values per item based on available inventory transactions. This coding is running it for one single item without using the complete consistency check.
