Does anyone know how to save a pdf copy of a Free Text Invoice in AX 2012 using X++. There are few solutions for AX 2009 in this forum but non of them seems to working on AX 2012. Any help is appreciated.
Did u find any solution yet...even im dealing with the same poblem..
Thanks for sharing your problem. Does anyone have any code to deal with this issue? But I wonder whether I need some 3rd party pdf text extraction toolkits to help me extract text from pdf files. If so, it will be better if it offers free trial package for users to check. I will try it later and send you feedback.
static void PrintReport_PDF(Args _args)
reportRun = new SRSReportRun();
srsPrintSettings = reportRun.printDestinationSettings();
//reportRun.saveParameters(); //For Report parameters
I know this is now a very old thread, but came across it when trying to do exactly what was requested. The FreeText invoice poses some specific print out issues, but I was able to print to file with the following.
Note: This is just a sample to get you on the right path, its not a tested full solution
private void printFreeTextInvoice2(CustInvoiceJour _jour, FilePath _path)
CustPrintOutInvoice custPrintOutInvoice = CustPrintOutInvoice::construct();
RecordSortedList journalList = new RecordSortedList(tableNum(CustInvoiceTable));
filename = strFmt(@'%1\FT_%2.pdf', _path, _jour.InvoiceId);
// Create print destination settings.
srsPrintDestSettings = new SRSPrintDestinationSettings();
