We're experiencing a strange issue in our Dynamics 365 Sales environment. Recently, the Rich Text Editor toolbar started appearing on email activities in the Timeline, even though these emails are read-only.
This was not the case before — the RTE panel used to be completely hidden for read-only emails. Now it appears for all users, across all forms and entities, but the toolbar doesn't work (since the record isn't editable).
This appears to be a UI bug or regression introduced by a recent update, possibly related to the Timeline control or platform changes. We've confirmed:

It occurs across all entities (e.g., Contact, Opportunity, etc.).

No recent customizations were made on our side

The email records are not editable, yet the toolbar still renders

Has anyone else seen this behavior recently? Is this a known issue or tied to a specific update?
