How can I use in RMS the manufacture of foods ?

One way to do this is to
1. Go to File > Configuration SO Manager
2. Press 'Caption' (Bottom Left Corner) button
3. Click 'Item' Tab
4. Sub Description 1: Enter the word 'Manufacturer'
This will then appear as a filed name when you open the item properties for any item. I think this is what you have asked.

If it's only one field You need, like a label, then what Pappu is suggesting is fine. In one project I done few years ago, we've used the Note field, as it was longer (255 characters I think), you may add more details or information if needed, etc., etc.,... Basically, would do the same as the SubDescription1, the only difference is that SubDescription1 can be configured to be dropdown field so You can select it for other items...
If you need more fields or data of the manufacturer, than you may use the Suppliers fields as sustitues, if you don't use them now. This is not recomended to be honest... At the end, if there is more info of the manufacturer you need to store, you may want to contact an Partner to do a development for you...
