Good afternoon,

My organization has a custom app with a Document Associated Grid, however from 30th October onwards, the team are no longer able to select any drop-down options and can only see /No Options Available/.

Please advise.

Kind regards

Carly

The Ribbon Workbench work-around is helpful. Hopefully the underlying issue gets resolved soon.

Sharing another thread discussing the same issue. Someone opened a Support Case earlier this week.

I am experiencing the same issue on a few different entities. I only see See Associated records or See All Records. I refresh and it works temporarily but reverts back to the unexpected behaviour. Sandbox environments are not behaving the same way, those are working fine.

We are also seeing this issue in some of our Tenants but not in all.
We think it only affects particular Database versions (when I include the number here it truncates my post).
I expect the issue to be fixed on Monday am as DB updates typically happen every weekend.

Upon doing some digging I believe I have found a fix. Create a solution with the "sharepointdocument" table as the only component. Then, open this solution in the Ribbon Workbench tool. Right click the "New" option on the subgrid ribbon and select "Customise Button". Now, you do no have to make any changes. Simply publish the solution now and wait for it to complete.

Upon reloading the site after publishing, all the options (PowerPoint, OneNote, Word, Excel, and folder) are there. Looks like a Microsoft update may have broke something and simply rebuilding this ribbon component fixes it?

Our org is having the same issue. Tried checking ribbon workbench and there are no hide actions. Something definitely changed this week as we have made no customizations to this.

I am having the same issue, but within just one table (entity).  The others still work fine.  I checked the ribbon workbench and the options are not hidden.  Any other ideas?

    Good afternoon,

I am experiencing the same problem.
I haven't been able to find a resolution, was hoping maybe you have?

I have the same issues in our custom app.  It worked fine last week.  Users could add new Word and Excel documents but now they see no options available.  I am sys admin and I also can't create new documents.  Something changed over the weekend on Microsoft's side.  We do not use ribbon workbench so I do not think that is the answer.  Microsoft did something.  I am digging through the settings now.

    Hi,

Please use the Ribbon Workbench to check this button on the command bar of the SubGrid View for the /sharepoingtdoucment/ entity.
When I hide the several drop down options in that button, I encounter the same issue as you when I click on this option again.

Alternatively, it is possible that these dropdown options have a display rule set up based on security roles, which causes the inability to see these dropdown options.
