I've been in computer business for over 50 years now and this problem is right up there with some of my toughest. My customer is still using RMS 1.3R (I know, it's OLD!) and we have never had a problem printing out product labels with a valid 128A barcode. Well, that machine died and I installed a new one and we CAN'T get a valid label to print! Here is the label code that has worked all these years:
'Eltron Label (2.25X.75)

Q254,24

This was working with our Zebra 2824 for years. I remember that the drivers were stacked somehow with a Generic & Zebra but how I don't know. We just can't hit on a combination that works and we are becoming desperate! If anyone can offer a suggestion we would be very grateful... We have also tried to create a new label using the onboard Label Designer but are unable to get a working barcode onto the label. It prints the barcode font but not an actual barcode. We are printing to a 2.25 X .75 inch label. I can be reached at microsoft@johnhess.com Thanks! John Hess
