Does ATP ever exclude working days?

Hi,

We are currently using ATP with the Working Days set to /Yes/. Our calendar is setup with Saturdays and Sundays configured as closed and not available for pickup. So, when we create a Sales Order, we are expecting it to suggest a date of today's date plus the ATP Time Fence, not including Saturdays or Sundays. However, the suggested date is including the weekends. For example, if the ATP time fence is 7 days, we want that to be working days only, not to include weekends. Does anyone know if this is standard behavior for ATP to always include the weekends even if working days is set to /Yes/ and the calendar is configured with the weekends as closed?

I think Co-pilot is correct, but I've no idea why Co-pilot is able to confidently make that claim; do you have the link on MS Learn that says that?! I can't find it!

Everyone, thanks for the responses. I have found the answer via Microsoft Learn. For anyone that is curious as to what the answer is, here is a quote from Microsoft's documentation:

"In Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O), the Available-to-Promise (ATP) time fence does not exclude weekends or days that are closed. The coverage time fences are specified in calendar days, and calendars that use working days won’t affect the time fence calculation."

Also, Copilot actually found that for me...

    Hy,
does that item master have the shown coverage group?
pls attach screenshot of complete /accounts receivable/shipments parameters.
If the item has setup /Item coverage/ pls share screenshots of that
can you share screenshot of sales order line delivery tab with all the dates?

    Herzliche Grüße / kind regards,

I assumed the ATP Time Fences are always specified in calendar days.

I think the Working days parameter applies to the Sales lead time
