FedEx API upgrade: AX 2012 XML integration TO Rest based Json FedEx API integration in AX 2012

Hi,
 
We have FedEx XML based integration in AX 2012 which were integrated with FedEx and now they are migrating to JSON based API which they have shared.
I would like to understand how we migrate the changes. For AX 2012 we have added the reference of the Dlls and were able to call the method points however in this case is there anything specific that needs to be done for Json based API's.
Request you to share the code for the same.

    Are you saying that you have the same kind of API and the same data, you just need to serialize the data to JSON instead of XML?
     
    Or do you actually mean (but forgot to mention) that you're talking about different kinds of APIs, such as switching from a SOAP web service to RESTful one?
     
    If it's not clear, XML and JSON are data formats, not definitions of application programming interfaces (APIs). For example, RESTful web services utilizing OData protocol can support both XML and JSON, and clients can choose which format they want to use.

    I have updated the subject and description.
    We had integrated AX 2012 with FedEx and that was with XML based integration and now they are switching to JASON based API and hence we need to change our code to JSON based API.
     
    I would like to understand in such cases what is the best approach to fix it.

    What exact Dll are you referring to? Please provide some more background information.
