Adding Additional Contacts to Legacy Subscription?

Does anyone know definitively whether a pre-existing legacy subscription as of Sept 1, 2023 for Dynamics 365 Marketing has the right to add capacity (i.e. additional contacts) during the grandfathered period before being forced to upgrade to Customer Insights?
Our licensing reseller has blacked out all of these SKUs for purchase, but surely Microsoft wouldn't expect an organization to not have any capacity requirement changes during the grandfathered period, would they?

UPDATE:
the moderator provided a poor answer and then deleted the response after I questioned it.
We've had to go ahead and start a new subscription for Customer Insights so the issue is behind us now.
Very disappointed in the lack of clarity around this issue and the moderator's action.

Yes, you can use the additional Insight on existing subscription until next renewal and than name changes
