Project ESG Reporting - Export Assessments Functionality

Hi Team,

We have Project ESG Reporting (version 2.23.0.313) installed in one of our environments. When we try using the "Exports" functionality, we can successfully create an Export Job record with the status "Pending." However, the status does not update to "Completed" and export not happening.

Upon reviewing the documentation, we did not find any specific requirements mentioned to ensure the job runs successfully. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/industry/sustainability/project-esg-reporting-exports

Could you provide any guidance on how to troubleshoot this issue?

Ensure that the job queue is running and not overloaded. Sometimes, if the queue is full, jobs can get stuck in the "Pending" state.

P.S. Look at the job logs for any errors or warnings that might give you a clue as to why the job isn't completing. This can often provide specific error messages that can guide further troubleshooting.

To avoid export jobs getting stuck in the 'Pending' state, ensure that the Dataverse connection is set up by following these steps:

    • On the Power Apps home page, select your environment from the upper right corner.
    • Go to 'Solutions' from left navigation and click on 'Default Solution'.

    • Click 'Connection references' from left navigation and select 'Microsoft Dataverse msdyn_esgexport...'

    • Click on 'New connection' and search for Dataverse in the upper right search bar, and select Microsoft Dataverse. If there are two Dataverse connections, select the one that isn't grayed out.

    • Sign in, and then select Create.
    • Choose the newly created connection and save.
