Duration vs Day booking

Hi,

I hope someone can help me as i'm finding it difficult to understand how to schedule across multi days.

I have created a resource requirement for a duration of 3 days across a week. This displays as 72 hours.

My resources work 8am -6pm (10 hours). When I book this requirement, across a resource, it literally sees the 72 hours. So In my case, it books the 3 days (30 hours) but then i have 42 hours remaining.

How can i set this so that 72 hours is equivalent of 3 working days?

Also a seperate question, whenever I search for a resource using scheduling assistant, it never finds a resource until i unselect /ignore proposed bookings/, How do i unselect this by default? Is this related to the fact that its finding 72 consective working hours when my resources are only ever available 10 hours?

Thanks in advance.

    Bonjour,
