Creating a journey to send batch emails from one segment

We are sending our first email from Dynamics, and want to do so with small batches to warm up the IP. We are using pre-determined segments that have already been created.
 
What is the best way to create a journey to send an email to batches of 50 contacts from one segment? For example, the segment has 250 contacts, we send the first 50 on day 1, second 50 day 2 etc. The journey will run until all contacts in the segment have been sent the email.

    in real-time marketing and their journeys it is currently not possible to send emails in batches, this is a feature coming soon though: https://releaseplans.microsoft.com/?app=Customer+Insights+-+Journeys&status=planned&planID=5099e112-28ba-ee11-a569-00224827e905

    I suggest, you create subsegments and use the attributes path and wait timer. Or if you have a attribute like city that divides your 250 contacts that would also be possible.
