Hi everyone !!

I am trying to test a scenario with batch below location Reservation hierarchy for Sales orders

here sales order quantity is 120

on hand , Batch 1 ::  70 quantity Loc 1
                Batch 2 ::   50 quantity  loc 2

following further process I do Release to Warehouse and work is created where Pick location is empty and when im trying to Scan/Enter  the pick location after sel;ecting the work id  im getting this error  'UNABLE TO RESERVE INVENTORY FOR THE WORK '  even though there is on hand ,

Do revert with your suggestions what is the right way to perform the transaction , TIA

    It sounds like you need to tick the "Allow split" on your PICK location directive, in the Lines fasttab.

    Good day,

    In addition to the below question, could you share also a screenshot of the on-hand inventory with the inventory status?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Can you enable work creation history log in warehouse management parameters and then see in Work > work creation history log possible reason. if Pick location is empty, I doubt it is failing either on location directive or Work template.

    It would be more helpful if you can provide some screenshot of the scenario, error, basic setup, on hand inventory or any relevant information to help you further please.

    Thanks,
    Gaurav Bharti
