Customer Voice Survey Drop Down Lists - Not Populating

I have a survey prepared with a number of branching dropdowns. Each dropdown has copy/pasted content from a list of customers. Some lists have 399 entries.

When I preview the survey, each drop down is fully populated. All looks good. It appears the survey has saved.

however, when i return to the survey either later, or from a different browser, the dropdowns have lost all of their entries.

Any ideas? Driving me nuts.

    I'm trying to add a dropdown survey question with about 142 entries, however if I return back to the survey later the question appears to be blank with no entries.
     
    Can anyone help with this?
